Overview:
Our client is seeking several candidates at the APS6 level who are interested in a Section 26 transfer (temporary and/or permanent). The agency is an Australian Government statutory agency whose role is to work in a collaborative manner with the Commonwealth and all State and Territory governments and other responsible parties to ensure that Australia's blood supply is safe, secure, adequate, and affordable.
Roles vary across the Agency however the candidates should have demonstrated capability in one, some or all the following areas.
Capabilities:
- Procurement – experience in managing or participating in Australian Government procurement processes. Demonstrated procurement experience and understanding of Australian Government requirements.
- Contract Management – an understanding and demonstrated experience in managing complex contractual arrangements within the Australian Government setting and applying the expected standards to effectively manage delivery of value for money outcomes.
- Stakeholder Management - demonstrated experience managing difficult or challenging stakeholders in complex working environments. Managing high profile stakeholders in a high-risk environment and demonstrated ability to navigate high risk situations to achieve positive outcomes.
- Project Management – practical project management skills and application within a government context.
- Communication – demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills particularly in dealing with external stakeholders.
