APS6 Procurement Systems Officer – Federal Government role
Contract Term: Initial 12 Months contract + possible extension.
Deakin Office location with flexible working option available
About the Role The APS6 Procurement Systems Officer (Labour Hire) is required to provide detailed technical, professional, policy, operational support and advice in relation to complex problems. Where required, the role will coordinate and assist in the strategic planning, program and project management and policy development that support the NDIA’s objectives to “build a world-leading National Disability Insurance Scheme”.
Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
Working with the Jira Service Desk, providing administrative support, including managing user accounts, customising workflows, monitoring system performance, resolving and escalating issues.
Supporting end users of Procurement Jira Service Desk and developing training and guidance material.
Documenting Jira configuration and issues resolution processes.
Generating reports for the Procurement Branch utilising Jira Service Desk data.
Collaborating with ICT and Procurement Branch stakeholders, achieving work area objectives.
Skills and Experience
Jira Service Desk administration, management, and reporting experience. (Essential)
Procurement experience, preferably in a Government Agency or Department
Ability to understand and apply company policy and procedures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Eligibility/Other Requirements:
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police History check, Worker Screening check and/or Working with Children Check (where required) and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship.
