Your new company
Our client is a Federal Government Agency and you will be working within the Procurement Branch, which is responsible for partnering with business areas to source goods and services for the Agency through a centralised procurement model. They focus on applying the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and Procurement Policy to ensure value for money outcomes.Procurement Business Partners work with business areas to engage labour hire resources, source good and services and undertake grant rounds in accordance with the Procurement Policy and relevant legislation.
Your new role
Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
Working with the Jira Service Desk, providing administrative support, including managing user accounts, customising workflows, monitoring system performance, resolving and escalating issues
Supporting end users of Procurement Jira Service Desk and developing training and guidance materials
Documenting Jira configuration and issues resolution processes
Generating reports for the Procurement Branch utilising Jira Service Desk data
Collaborating with ICT and Procurement Branch stakeholders, achieving work area objectives
What you'll need to succeed
In your new role, you are required to provide detailed technical, professional, policy, operational support and advice in relation to complex problems.
Where required, you will coordinate and assist in the strategic planning, program and project management and policy development that support the Agency's objectives.
