About the role:The APS6 Research Administration Officer is responsible for ensuring that the Agency policies, practices and priorities are informed by trustworthy and robust evidence. You will be part of Research and Evaluation branch, who aims to improve evidence-based decision making within the Agency and finds solutions to high priority issues, shaping disability research to maximise its impact for the Agency. It is a team membership position that may be required to perform work that involves project leadership requiring the setting of priorities and managing workflows of a project under supervision of more senior staff.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Developing and managing Agency’s research webinar series, presentations and stakeholder communication
Maintaining, monitoring and updating the Research and Evaluation intranet and internet sites
Preparing high-quality, clear and accesible research and evaluation documents in all formats that meet the needs of the audience
Providing project support through coordinating a schedule including the issues and risks of research and evaluation projects
Preparing draft written material including business cases, plans, executive briefs and corporate documentation.Assisting with the maintainance of accurate records of current branch work producing monthly reports which includes the production of gantt charts, timelines and roadmaps MANDATORY Experience working in a similar role under Australian rules and regulations
Excellent written and oral communication skills, and proficiency in the use of IT systems including Microsoft OfficeDemonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
Current Police Check, o ability to obtain one What you will bring to the role: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Experience in building relationships both with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to work within and across teams, the ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment
Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information. Ability to prioritise and allocate tasks in an efficient manner while also maintaining high work standards and accuracy.
