Join a creative marketing and communications team situated within one of Canberra’s cultural institutions. You will be instrumental in engaging with regional galleries to promote touring exhibitions and creating media opportunities and partnerships across Australia.

Your new role 

As the Communications and Content Officer, you will utilise your experience in public relations and marketing campaigns to engage with audiences in an innovative way. In addition, you will:

• Craft and execute strategic communications, content and marketing plans for several programs.

• Create and execute marketing and advertising campaigns that promote programs and regional events to target audiences.

• Develop promotional strategies to enhance program visibility.

• Manage budgets and provide detailed reports on marketing impacts.

What you'll need to succeed 

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience in marketing, media, communications or a related field.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective marketing and media strategies and products, applying specialist expertise in strategic communication, marketing and Content development.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work autonomously and within a team
