Our client is seeking to engage an APS6 Senior Project / Program Officer.
Location: Canberra, ACT
Contract Length: Until 3 September 2024 with a possibility of a 12-month extension
Eligibility/Security Requirement: Applicants must have an active Baseline Clearance or the ability to obtain
Overview:
A Senior Project/Program Officer with experience and knowledge of Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme and associated projects will be required to undertake work on PBS projects
The Senior Project/Program Officer will be part of a dynamic PBS Projects team where knowledge can be shared between the team members, resulting in upskilling, identification of opportunities and areas of improvement.
The Senior Project/Program Officer will play a key role in the Pharmaceutical Benefits Branch by assisting to bring current PBS Projects to completion and continue to deliver significant projects and continuous improvements.
Key duties will include but are not limited to:

• assist with preparation of project management documentation and reports
• stakeholder engagement
• assist with project testing
• work in collaboration with the project manager
• perform data analytics, data modelling
• interpret legislation requirements and translate them into business rules for application programming interface
• delivery of project/programme outcomes
