KAZAR is seeking dynamic and experienced individuals to join our Project and Program Management (PPM) team as Associates, Senior Associates and Managers.
As key members of our PPM service line, you will play a vital role in supporting our public sector clients in all aspects of Project and Program Management.
Role Overview
- As a PPM Team Member, you will be responsible for supporting a portfolio of projects for our public sector clients.
- Your role will involve coordinating project activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives efficiently and effectively.
- This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to Government initiatives and capabilities notably, Defence and National Security.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, execution, and delivery of projects within the Federal Government, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and organisational priorities.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, monitoring progress and identifying potential risks and issues.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to drive project outcomes and foster collaboration.
- Provide regular updates and reports on project status, milestones, and key performance indicators to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to optimise project delivery and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, procurement policies, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Project and Program Management, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a government, major capabilities or infrastructure.
- Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve project goals within specified timelines and budgets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels and negotiate conflicting priorities.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a track record of delivering successful outcomes in complex environments.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as PRINCE2 or PMBOK, and familiarity with relevant software tools for project planning and tracking.
- Australian citizenship and security clearance (NV1 or higher) is required.
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
