Federal Government Department going through a transition with their FMIS. It’s a revolutionary change for them that will bring them in line with the rest of the commonwealth.
The Role:
This role is at the APS6 level and will be for a fixed period of 12 months on a non-ongoing basis initially. They will advertise the role in the future on a permanent basis, giving you the opportunity for permanency.
As a Systems Administrator you will be supporting the finance teams on a day to day basis. Your duties will include:
- Systems maintenance
- Testing and system implementation
- Providing training to internal staff
- General support including access issues and bug fixes
They are going through a systems implementation of a major FMIS (Not SAP) and you will be trained in supporting and administering this system. You’ll also be involved in the testing and other duties for this system.
Your Skills and Experience:
You must be an Australian Citizen and a baseline clearance would be a bonus, however, they will sponsor you through a process if you are deemed to be the ideal candidate. Experience of working in a similar role where you have been providing support for a large FMIS is imperative.
Good communication skills and a client focused approach are also important to your success in this role.
