Aps6 Website Content Coordinator

Seeking a Website Coordinator and Writer with experience working in government departments holding a baseline

Your new company

Join a government department centrally located in Canberra. You will ensure all online content is well-organised, user-friendly and aligned with government accessibility standards.

Your new role

You will work closely with internal stakeholders and subject-matter experts to edit and review online content. You will be responsible for the internal architecture management and use analytics tools to inform content development and delivery. You will be working with various business areas to rewrite content that maintains a consistent tone and accessibility.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Improving readability of web content and eliminating duplication
  
• Provide constructive feedback on content drafts
  
• Create clear delivery of information to external website users
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Tertiary qualifications in communications, journalism, public relations or equivalent experience
  
• Demonstrated writing for different platforms and audiences to Australian Government Standards
  
• Demonstrated use of analytics platforms, publishing content with govCMS/Drupal
  
• Ability to meet tight timelines and manage competing deadlines
  

What you'll get in return

July - September 2024 hourly rate contract with the possibility for extension at an APS6 level. Central location.
