Belgravia Academy is part of the Belgravia Health and Leisure Group (BHLG) and we are the fastest growing leisure organisation in Australia. BHLG core areas of business include health clubs, tourism, wellness, destination spa reports, golf, aquatic and sporting venues and programs in over 450 locations across Australia and New Zealand (and expanding). We are in an exciting period of growth and looking for talented people to assist with taking the organisation into the future.
The RTO is an Enterprise RTO – meaning it exists to serve its own staff. Now we are expanding our programs and services to further support BHLG and provide our programs and services beyond Belgravia.
Evolution Training and Education, and Belgravia Academy are the trading names for Belgravia Pro (RTO ID 45497), a registered training organisation (RTO) owned by Belgravia Health and Leisure Group (BHLG).
The Role
We are in an exciting period of growth and currently looking for Qualified Aquatics Trainersand Assessors, on a Permanent Part-time, and casual basis – both weekdays and weekend work available.
Ours is an Enterprise RTO – meaning it exists to serve its own staff. Now we are expanding our programs and services to support more than just BPro, we are expanding to support BHLG, and provide our programs and services beyond Belgravia.
Key Accountabilities:
- Present high-quality Aquatics training to class participants with Belgravia Academy resources.
- Excellent work attitude and the ability to work independently.
- Outstanding time management.
- Good written and communication skills.
- Share your knowledge and skills in your area of expertise.
- Develop your Trainer or Assessor Matrix to support training requirements.
- Meet RTO compliance requirements by seeking regular professional development opportunities and industry experience.
Team Engagement
- Work as part of the team and community to create a positive, tolerant, and harmonious work environment.
- Deal with all team members in a helpful, courteous, and respectful manner.
- Communicate ideas that may improve efficiency, performance or standards of the business.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- TAE40116 Certificate 1V Training and Assessment (MUST HAVE)
- Aquatics ‘currency’
- Working With Children's Check (WWCC)
- National Police Check
The Ideal Candidate:
- Aquatics qualified trainer Permanent Part Time or casual, who has experience delivering the course required.
- Able to communicate course material in a clear, concise, and engaging manner in accordance with Belgravia Academy curriculum.
- Pool Lifeguard and First Aid training knowledge is highly desirable
- Flexible with availability, for casual and Part Time vacancies
- Drivers License (a reimbursement policy is applied for excess travel)
