Volt Edge is seeking qualified Trainer and Assessorsin the Electrical Training Field to take our training to the next level.

Looking for Full Time/Part Time/Casual/Contract positions.

Rates can range from $60 - $80 per hour - the more courses you can deliver the higher the salaries/income.

Seeking applicants in the following locations:

  • Melbourne (Office at Thomastown)
  • Other locations include: Sydney, Newcastle and travel options

The Role

In this role you will be responsible for delivering high quality training and assessment to our valued students. Your role and responsibilities include:

  • Delivering innovative learning and assessment material that is supplied to you;
  • Utilising our online LMS system, assess submitted theory material and provide feedback to ensure students learn and gain required knowledge prior to attending practicals. 
  • Deliver training and assessment that provides hands on simulated work experience and provide constructive feedback and work with students to improve their life skills and employability.

Volt Edge holds weekly trainings in the following areas:

  • Hazardous Areas*
  • High Voltage
  • Instrumentation - Cert III IC and Cert IV Instro
  • Solar and Battery
  • QTP & QBP
  • Process Plant - Cert II, III & IV.
  • Refrigeration - Cert II & III.

ABOUT YOU…

  • The ideal candidate will be teaching EEHA and HV currently and have at least 1 other course  from the list of training that we deliver.
  • Must have a lovely training persona, with great communication skills.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or a qualification at diploma level or higher in Adult & Vocational Education (Required).
  • Experienced in delivering two or more courses that Volt Edge offer, with potential to expand further knowledge/learning within the electrical industry. The more course that the trainer can deliver determines the salary.
  • Ability to utilise a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools that would ensure a successful training program, as well as making changes to materials as per compliance regulations.
  • Advanced English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of online learning initiatives, including computer skills and IT.
  • Must be able to tavel state wide and interstate travel, but not expected to travel often.
