Are you a NAATI accredited Arabic interpreter with a passion for medical/healthcare dialogues. Join us on an exciting journey and become a staff member of South Western Sydney Local Health District.You will provide services across a variety of models of care including face to face, telephone and video Interpreting and emerging platforms.What You'll be Doing
Provide high quality, accurate interpreting in a full range of health care settings across SWSLHD Clients.Where You'll Be Working

  • NAATI certification or accreditation at a paraprofessional level as a minimum
  • Relevant qualifications and training and /or relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capacity to interpret in medical settings
  • Ability to identify and convey and respond to social and cultural factors in the health care situation
  • Demonstrated ability to use initiative and work in a team environment
  • Must possess a valid Australian Drivers Licence (excluding learner driver's licences). If not already in possession, a NSW Drivers Licence must be obtained within 3 months of appointment
