Our Opportunity
Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Overall coordination and responsible for activities and tasks associated with the development of overall planning and programming.
- Preparation and monitoring of overall short and mid-range design construction and procurement programmes and schedules.
- Assist with developing and managing production-planning schedule to allocated disciplines.
- Construction team interface with design team on programming and procurement issues.
- Ensure coordination of all programs and review same.
- Establish implementation and monitor programming control procedures.
- Assist with on-site controls and recording procedures for delays.
- Monitoring subcontractors and suppliers to ensure the project is delivered in accordance with the project documentation, and HSE and quality requirements.
- Administration of subcontractor's progress claims, variation claims and extensions of time claims.
- Develop an understanding of the company's systems and controls and implement in day to day operations.
- Subcontract management and subcontract administration, including assistance in preparation of monthly final forecast cost estimates (FFC's) for trade packages. Review of major variation and monthly trade FFC's with Project Team.
- Identify detailed project risks and issues and raise them to appropriate levels.
- Prepare site reports and administration.
- Assist with implementing and maintaining production controls relevant to the discipline(s), to ensure the project works comply with programme, HSE and quality requirements and constraints.
- Understand and assist in monitoring the project HSE plan, environmental management plan and traffic management plan.
- Adhere to Mirvac standard processes and Site Disciplines, to fully understand procurement, design and delivery processes.
Your point of difference
The ideal candidate must have 2-4 engineering experience and tertiary qualified with a construction or engineering degree. You will have experience working on large scale new build commercial, mixed-use or residential build projects.
If you understand civil engineering and landscape delivery fundamentals coupled with the ability to reach and understand the project documentation including plans and specifications, you will be highly regarded.
