Clinipath Pathology is a Perth-based subsidiary of Sonic Healthcare with a reputation as a quality pathology service provider, focusing on professional excellence, reliability and excellent customer service.
We are currently seeking applications for the following full time positions:
- Area Coordinator Central - based out of West Perth and responsible for Perth’s Central Suburbs
- Area Coordinator North - based out of Whitfords and responsible for Perth’s Northern suburbs and regional areas, such as Geraldton & Broome.
The main focus of the Area Coordinator role is to ensure an outstanding quality service is delivered to our customers and that all centers within the assigned region are operating efficiently.
Area Coordinator duties include:
- Efficient day to day management of multiple collection centers, including the preparation of rosters, on call, setting up new Collection Centers, ensuring appropriate staffing levels at all sites
- Implementing and monitoring procedural changes and ensuring compliance
- Recruitment and training of new staff and ongoing performance management
- Providing guidance and support to collection center staff within a designated area
- Administering the payroll system for the region
- Preparation of reports and attendance at group departmental meetings
The successful applicant must have:
- A Certificate III in Pathology Collection or a Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques with a speciality in Pathology Collection or significant industry experience
- Demonstrated excellence working in phlebotomy and related pathology services including: AS4308 Drug and Alcohol collections, and pediatric bleeds
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent clinical skills and the ability to work productively and efficiently within a team
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service, effective time management, the ability to multi-task and demonstrated organisational skills
- Sound computer skills including Word and Excel
- The ability to demonstrate strong leadership and provide support to a large group of front line staff
- Previous staff management and payroll experience
- The right to work in Australia.
- National Police Certificate conducted by The West Australian Police
- Current ‘C’ class driver’s license and good driving record
A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment would be an advantage.
The Area Coordinator role is full time, typically the hours will be worked on a rotation between 6:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday, with some limited weekend work. Participation in the weekend and on-call roster is required.
Applicants for the Area Coordinator North role need to be willing and able to travel to regional areas of WA as required.
