Are you someone who is passionate about engaging with the community to help maintain safe and well-functioning road networks?

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

We are seeking an individual who has background experience in Civil Construction or Maintenance sectors to join our Works and Operations unit. In this permanent position as the Area Maintenance Inspector, your day to day tasks will involve investigating and responding to requests from the community for all road related maintenance issues, together with managing the conditions of Councils Local Road and Bridge networks by performing inspections to identify any issues or hazards, and coordinating Council's resealing and rehabilitation programs on local roads. This role will also require you to be efficient with documenting the progress and completion of tasks and managing customer requests. Your communication skills, attention to detail and ability to interpret engineering plans and specifications will be vital in this role.

Remuneration:

$76,549 -$88,636 per annum plus superannuation
