Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Early ChildhoodArea Manager to oversee our growing network of Early Childhood Centres in the western suburbs of Victoria. As the Area Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality of care and education for young children in our region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Provide strong leadership and guidance to our Early Childhood center directors and staff.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that our centers maintain the highest standards of Early Childhood education and care.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with all local, state, and federal regulations, and ensure that our centers are in full compliance.
- Budget Management: Manage the financial health of each center, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue generation.
- Staff Development: Support and mentor center directors and staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Parent and Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with parents, families, and the community to create a sense of belonging and trust.
- Program Development: Work with center directors to develop and enhance educational programs, curricula, and activities.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data and feedback to continuously improve the quality of our Early Childhood education services.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Children's services of equivalent
- Current working with children check
- Current drivers license and vehicle
- A minimum of 2 years successful track record as a field manager across a dispersed network in a service-related industry
- Strong knowledge of Early Childhood education regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and a passion for child development
- Budgeting and financial management experience
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to travel to our various centers within the region
