About the Role:
As the result of an internal promotion, we’re looking for a motivated Area Manager for the Gold Coast & Southern QLD/Northern NSW region. You’ll be expected to build solid, long-term relationships with your accounts (primarily pharmacy) and drive sales in your territory in line with targets. Importantly, you’ll also need to work as a team with your fellow (Northern) QLD colleague to develop strategic plans together, driving performance for the total state.
Reporting into the National Field Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- B2B sales & servicing a select group of customers – mainly pharmacies, salon/pharmacy distributors, selected salon groups, & major retail chains
- Territory planning & management
- Increase standards of customer service
- Provide product training for staff where needed
- Communicate w/clients on a regular basis
- Ensure quality consistency across the region
- Maximise sales & profitability in the region
- Merchandising
- Occasional participation at interstate trade fairs & events
- Interstate travel as required to NSW (incl. Sydney head office)
Skills & Experience:
- Must-have: account management experience in pharmacy channel – beauty/personal care a big plus
- Excellent organisational skills, managing several tasks/projects at one time
- Great selling, planning, & interpersonal/influencing skills
- Solid verbal & written communication
- Exceptional customer focus
- Proactive, can-do attitude; team player & solid work ethic
- Proven track-record of meeting sales targets
- Intermediate computer skills
