The Opportunity
The Atlantis Group are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Childcare and Outside School Care Area Manager.
Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, the purpose of this role is to provide leadership, training & development and operational direction to between 4-7 childcare and OSHC services in Perth's Northern Suburbs operating in line with the Atlantis Group’s vision and philosophy, whilst also exceeding industry standards.

The Role
Leadership and Management: Lead and mentor a team of childcare and outside school care managers and educators, providing guidance, support, and fostering a positive work environment.
Program Development: Oversee the continuous development and enhancement of engaging educational programs that cater to the needs and interests of children in our care.
Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality care and supervision of children by conducting regular audits, inspections and assessments across services. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and licensing requirements.
Team Training and Development: Identifying training needs and providing ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of all team members. Fostering a culture of continuous improvement, learning and development.
Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Building and maintaining positive relationships with families, schools and other community stakeholders. Acting as a point of escalation for concerns and feedback, ensuring open communication channels are established and maintained.
About you
You will be able to demonstrate:
- An innovative, inspiring and positive approach with a proven ability to build, lead and foster a positive team culture;
- The ability to work closely with centre managers and coordinators to assist them in making our services industry leading;
- A passion for people development and leadership;
- Good business acumen with the ability to think strategically and implement operationally;
- Exceptional Early Childhood expertise and the relevant certifications, qualifications and security checks;
- A thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards, Qikkids Software, My Time Our Place, Reggio Emilia and other renowned pedagogies;
- A proven ability to excel under pressure and be adaptable to change;
- Strong networking and relationship building skills with proven experience of building these in local communities.
