This is a rare and exciting opportunity! The School is seeking a qualified Art Teacher Aide to join our fantastic Art Team.

About the role
- Full-Time, Term-Time role
- Assist with individual students or small groups of students as required by the class teacher
- Support teachers in the preparation for lessons - making of resources, cataloging, setting up activities
- Class preparation and assistance with clean up.
- Senior and Junior School class assistance
- Set timetabled accountabilities with a wide variety of tasks
- The Teacher Aide must be able to carry out these duties with limited supervision
- The Teacher Aide must display the affective attributes of warmth, teamwork, and a flexible attitude
- Some knowledge of Art and the medium used would be highly considered.
Skills and experience
About the candidate
- Certificate III in Education, as a minimum qualification (essential)
- Current First Aid & CPR qualifications is desired
- Competent computer skills
- Personal experience in Art or Art experience will be highly regarded
- Previous experience as an Art Teacher Aide is highly desired
- Demonstrated high-level organisational skills
- Demonstrated use of initiative, with the ability to anticipate the needs of the classroom teacher and students
- Have an ability to and understand the need to be confidential and tactful, with a genuine desire to work with students
- Flexible and proactive, with strong interpersonal skills and a team player
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Warm, friendly and support approach with students
