We are currently seeking candidates with a vibrant and energetic personality as an additional Weighbridge Operator/Administrator for our Goondiwindi Waste Facility.
You will be responsible for providing impeccable customer service and the accurate operation of Council’s ticketing software, as well as the general maintenance and upkeep of the Weighbridge.
You will be supporting our existing team members as the primary point of contact on-site, overseeing inbound & outbound materials, and assisting with other administrative tasks as required.
Our ideal candidate will have strong customer service & communication skills and the ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment. You will be juggling various interactions, including face-to-face, UHF, email, and phone calls, so being able to prioritise tasks independently is crucial.
This position is used to back fill sick and holiday leave periods, so there are no set or guaranteed hours. If you're interested in a relief role please throw your name in the ring, otherwise please pass this onto anyone who's looking.
In this role you will:
Provide high level customer service to our valued customer base.
Operate ticketing software to capture data for all incoming and outgoing loads.
Provision of invoice and EFTPOS reconciliation
Hold a current manual driver licence.
Hold a White Card or equivalent.
Assist onsite customers with the correct unloading areas.
Liaise with Council contractors and vendors.
Administration support where required:
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams)
- Reconciliation documentation as required.
- Some money handling will be required.
- Answering phone enquiries.
- Handle customer enquiries
Some manual labour will be required for this role.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 7:45 am - 5:15 pm
Saturday & Sunday: 9:30 am - 5:15 pm
