Art Technician to join our dynamic team for a fixed-term from Monday 5 August through until Friday 13 September 2024. This is to cover a staff member on leave.As an
Art Technician, you will collaborate closely with our dedicated Art teaching staff to provide outstanding learning experiences for students in Years 7-12.You will use your skills and insight to manage art resources, prepare art materials, support the curation and display of artwork for exhibitions, and ensure safe and organised workspaces for our staff and students.
About YouYou will have appropriate qualifications and experience, ideally in an educational setting.Along with your creative flair, you will offer effective communication skills, the ability to relate positively with students and staff, and have a capacity for self-direction and independent work.You will demonstrate excellent time management and prioritisation skills, have a strong understanding of safety protocols and measures within artistic workspaces and are able to support students and colleagues with that same level of understanding.If this sounds like you, please introduce yourself to us.Applications close 5pm Friday 12 July 2024.All staff must commit to a culture that supports and embraces Child Safe Standards.
