Job description

SA Police are seeking 2x experienced Test Analysts on a fixed-term contract for 2-years.

Your new company 
South Australia Police (SAPOL) provides a diverse range of services to the community. These services are aimed at producing a safe and peaceful environment by the minimisation of crime and disorder. It is a large complex organisation which, because of the nature of its operations, is constantly subject to public scrutiny and accountability. It provides services to a range of different locations (over 100) spread across the State on a 24 hour a day basis.

The SAPOL Firearms Program (SAFP) comprises a set of technical and business focused projects which aims to improve SAPOL and community safety. The program will digitise firearm related services to the community and implement a new firearm registry to support SAPOLs Firearms Branch (FAB). The program will collaborate with other state, territory and commonwealth law enforcement jurisdictions as part of national efforts to standardise firearms information and improve access to firearms information for law enforcement jurisdictions nationwide, through the implementation of a National Firearms Register (NFR).

Your new role 
The Test Analyst is responsible for undertaking a full range of testing services and functions and working closely with other Test Analysts to deliver high quality testing and assurance functions. You will primarily be dedicated to a complex and business critical project, but you may also be required to work across a number of smaller BAU and project activities. 
What you'll need to succeed 

  • Experience in testing Cloud CRM solutions with integrations to internal and external systems and data migration is essential for the successful candidate.
  • Experience in software testing across the testing lifecycle including the techniques for system, regression, and automated testing. 
  • Experience across HP ALM QC & UFT, Jira, SOAP UI, Postman, and Selenium 
  • Experience undertaking defect management processes including in the investigation, documentation, and resolution of defects. 
  • Experience in the design, development and execution of system test cases and documenting test results in line with quality processes. 
  • Ability to adapt to changing technologies and to understand and apply new concepts.
  • Knowledge of test standards, tools, methods and processes and practical experience working in a SDLC and ITIL environment. 
  • Technical knowledge of functional and non-functional test design, processes and planning within a complex organisation.
  • Sound oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical ICT concepts and technology solutions in business terms to technical and non-technical stakeholders and to develop documentation to a high standard. 
  • SalaryASO5 $84,522 – $94,003 per annum plus superannuation.
