About the Opportunity
The Complaints Management Team provide a quality mediation and education complaint management service, achieving the timely resolution of school and preschool complaints.
This role promotes best practice and provides expert advice and consultation services on a range of complaints based on significant discipline knowledge of government and education complaint handling processes. This role undertakes a range of complaint functions that includes the resolution of complaints in an effective, timely, fair and transparent manner in line with the departments Complaint Management Policy and Procedure.
Qualifications
Desirable: A degree in education, public policy, social work, mediation or related field.

Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
ASO6: $97,022 - $102,626 per annum plus superannuation.
