Role Details
An exciting opportunity exists in our Strategy team to help shape the next 20-Year State Infrastructure Strategy.
We are looking for a strategic thinker with excellent communication, research and analysis skills to join us.
As the Senior Advisor- Strategy you will undertake complex research and analysis on current infrastructure challenges, trends and opportunities and provide evidence-based advice to inform what state-wide infrastructure we need to 2045.
You will also draw on your communication and engagement skills to develop strong working relationships across a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to support development of a Strategy that aligns with the State’s economic vision of a smart, sustainable and inclusive economy.
About You
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who demonstrates experience across the following key capabilities:

• Demonstrated high level problem solving and analytical skills and the ability to explain complex concepts succinctly.
• Demonstrated experience in reconciling research, analysis and various views from a range of sources on matters of complexity to build a robust evidence base for the provision of expert advice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven experience building trusted partnerships with a wide range of key stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience with preparing and/or analysing business cases, policies or strategies.

Special Conditions

• The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
• The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
• Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
• Some interstate travel involving overnight absences will be required.
• This role requires a National Criminal History check.
