One that is equitable and prioritises learning and wellbeing.Together we will make our education system the best it can be.When our children and young people thrive, so do our communities and our state.About the OpportunityThe People and Culture (P&C) Consultant is a member of the Corporate Leader Advisory Team and will deliver HR priorities to the Office of the Early Years (OECD) as key functions and responsibilities for early childhood development are transitioned from the Department for Education to OECD.The P&C Consultant draws on HR analytics, deriving keen insights for workforce planning solutions and provides expert advice and recommendations to leaders and their teams regarding operational policies, processes, and practices.The P&C Consultant contributes to the discovery, design and implementation of key initiatives and continuous improvement in alignment with our P&C operating model. A key success criteria is the ability to build and maintain effective and collaborative partnerships with our key stakeholders to ensure operational service excellence outcomes are achieved during a time of functional transition and growth.This position will be based primarily at the OECD, and will provide on the ground support to facilitate the delivery of government recommendations and priorities for early childhood services.About the Office for Early Childhood DevelopmentThe Office for Early Childhood Development has been formed with a clear mandate. To create a fairer and better future for all children in South Australia. As the steward of the early childhood development system, the Office will act on government's behalf, and work in collaboration with the sector, to organise and connect the system to reduce children’s developmental vulnerability in the years before school.This includes leading reforms to quality preschool for all three and four-year-olds, supporting for families in the first 1000 days of a child’s life and implementing workforce reforms.QualificationEssential: A tertiary qualification in a Human Resources or related field and/ or demonstrated years of experience.
Desirable: Experience as a HR Practitioner working in complex operating models, workforce data and analytics, and interest or experience in Education Sector or Public Sector.Why work with usBy joining our team, you will:
