Communicate with Restaurant Manager on a regular basis.
Recruitment of new wait staff and baristas.
Train and maintain service levels with all employees on all aspects of the Restaurant operation according to Gold Plate Award criteria.
Coordinate with your Supervisors to obtain stock levels and order supplies, as needed (liquor, takeaway packaging, coffee, milk and other ingredients).
Liaise with Chef for ordering of food and beverage
Maintain records to effectively provide daily and weekly reports.
Provide suggestions for weekly menu specials and provide feedback on current menu items to continuously improve offering.
Ensures customer satisfaction is maintained.
Support all aspects of employee management.
Take action to correct any problems effectively. Communicate with customers to resolve complaints or ensure satisfaction.
Provide strong support and training with staff on the best ways to resolve issues with clients and deliver excellent customer service.
Ensure all Restaurant areas are clean and tidy and opening/closing procedures are being followed. This applies for inside, outside and storage areas.
Provide a list of maintenance items to Restaurant Manager as they occur.
Keep all staff up to date on policies and procedures using, staff board, deputy forum, group chat and/or emails.
Improve quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes; maintaining and improving the appearance of the Restaurant and surrounding areas.

Reports and investigates any incidents or hazards as identified using the Restaurant's reporting forms.
Conducts regular WHS Inspections and ensures appropriate risk controls are in place.
Ensures that the workplace remains clean and tidy and the safety of consumable goods by always respecting HACCP regulations.
Respects the instructions and safety guidelines for the equipment used.
Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.
