Assembly Lead / Automotive Accessory Fitter

Our continued growth has created the need for a production operator with relevant automotive skills within our team. This position will be an instrumental role within our production team, ensuring we are delivering quality products in a timely manner.

We are looking for a suitable experience team member with relevant automotive or production experience and a high mechanical aptitude. We'd love to talk with you if you are willing to pull up your sleeves, work through issues, and have effective problem-solving skills. 

We have a great team; you’ll need to be a self-starter with a winning attitude and high attention to detail. 

Key Responsibilities

• Automotive accessory fitting and electrical.
• Tray, trailer and accessory assembly and fitting.
• Ensure safe work practices by taking ownership of production safety and ensuring WHS compliance.
• Ensuring the standard of work is of high quality and completed in a timely manner.
• Coach and lead non-trade qualified personnel.

Key Requirements

• Experience within the automotive or manufacturing sector (trade certificate an advantage).
• Demonstrable background in Automotive Accessory fitting or similar work environments.
• Sound knowledge of assembly and technical processes.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to learn and adapt.
• Ability to find solutions to problems.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage and motivate others.
• Hard-working and Reliable.
• Flexibility for overtime.
• Drivers Licence.
• Forklift license would be an advantage.
