An Assembly Operator plays a crucial role in manufacturing blinds, shutters, security doors, and stormproof shutters and doors. They are responsible for assembling parts and components to create finished products that meet quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Product Assembly:
- Combine parts and components according to specific instructions and guidelines.
- Assemble blinds, shutters, security doors, and stormproof shutters and doors to create finished goods.
- Ensure the accuracy of assembly and adherence to quality standards.
- Quality Control:
- Inspect components and final products to identify any defects.
- Report defects promptly to maintain product quality.
- Ensure only products meeting specifications proceed to the next production stage.
- Machine Operation:
- Operate machinery and equipment used in the assembly process.
- Monitor machine efficiency, perform basic maintenance tasks, and troubleshoot issues.
- Material and Component Management:
- Safely handle raw materials, waste materials, and finished products.
- Move materials and components between workstations.
- Maintain an organized workspace.
- Record-Keeping:
- Accurately document production quantities, material usage, and encountered defects.
- Maintain records essential for efficient manufacturing processes.
- Attention to Detail:
- Examine parts and products meticulously to ensure accurate assembly.
- Strictly adhere to specifications and maintain quality standards.
- Manual Dexterity:
- Work with small components and tools effectively.
- Operate hand tools and power tools proficiently.
- Shifts: Day shifts with overtime availability.
- Salary: $25.00 per hour (plus production bonus).
