Assessor, Home Claims

Are you a customer-focused individual with experience in property damage assessment?  If so, we're looking for you!

Our Home Claims Assessors are a key part of our business ensuring we are there for our customers when they need us the most.

What you'll do

• Ensure effective and efficient assessment approach – contacting customers to arrange assessment bookings, utilising technology to be effective and efficient completing virtual and desktop assessments and taking a customer centric approach.
• Assess new claims – Determine policy coverage, scope & estimate building, and contents damage.
• Provide ongoing claim support – review expert reports, provide technical advice, review variations & invoices and complete quality inspections.

What you'll bring

• Have a relevant trade qualification (Builder, Carpenter, Plumber etc..) and ideally experience within the Home Claims Insurance industry
• Be great at communicating making the complex simple (verbal and written) and have excellent attention to detail.
• Capability to use different technology/systems
• You will be passionate about customers (both internal and external).
• You will be comfortable working autonomously, take a proactive approach to your development and being a supportive part of the team.
• You will be based in Perth & looking for a full-time role (Monday – Friday).
