Form of workAqwest is on the lookout for a new Asset Engineer to join its dynamic Assets team. Our Asset Engineer provides technical assistance with engineering design, information mapping and support services. The role sits within an established team that ensures that Aqwest provides high quality drinking water to the Bunbury area and continues to develop and grow through innovation and environmental sustainability.

About the role:
The role includes but is not limited to:
- Prepare engineering design drawings and plans in support of various projects.
- Undertake technical investigations and asset condition assessment.
- Undertake the development of maintenance plans.
- Provide asset data & information analysis and reporting information, develop reporting tools, and assist in reviewing and monitoring AQWEST’s asset lifecycle performance.
- Support procurement planning.
- Provide technical assistance with engineering design, mapping information and other support services for:
- Maintenance plans to meet defined levels of services.
- Operational and maintenance of Aqwest’s hydraulic model.
- Scoping of capital projects and operating work packages to enable operations staff to meet relevant asset portfolio investment objectives.
