We currently have an opportunity for an Asset Manager to join our team based in TAFE Queensland Southbank campus. The Asset Manager will be accountable and responsible for the successful delivery of the strategic asset maintenance management and compliance. This role will be responsible for managing the overall delivery and facilitation of asset management on the site, including lifecycle replacement, additional service and variation projects to ensure support services to the campus.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver asset management services and projects within client expectations (e.g., time, quality, cost).
- Ensure all works are completed and fed back into the business within the KPI and contract timeframes.
- Ensure compliance and timely completion of Preventative Maintenance Works.
- Rectify defects as per the defects list.
- Coordinate the appointment of subcontractors and run competitive procurement or tender processes.
- Contribute to internal and client reporting including preparation of progress and operations reports, minutes, agendas, and presentations at monthly client meetings.
- Ensure contractual KPIs and Minimum Performance Standards in relation to the development of feasibility studies and project delivery are achieved.
- Undertake regular scheduled inspections of the site, for grounds, maintenance and cleaning, including WH&S and EPA Risk Identification to ensure a safe working/learning environment for all concerned.
- Experience in the delivery of Lifecycle Works and scheduling strategies to complete the work.
- Understanding of the scope of works development and whole-of-life principles, practices and legislation.
- Experienced within Scoping, tendering and documenting subcontracts.
- Managing/supervising the delivery of subcontractors.
- Developing and presenting budgets, analysis of costs and benchmarking.
- Management, estimating, programming, planning, design, delivery of FM projects and building works.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with all stakeholders.
- An understanding of planning and development of Asset Maintenance Plans.
