The Airport Development Group (ADG) has been a major contributor to the Northern Territory, injecting an average $270M into the NT economy annually, since 1998.
As part of Australia’s airport privatisation program, they acquired leases from the Australian Government for three major Northern Territory airports—Darwin International Airport, Alice Springs Airport and Tennant Creek Airport.
ADG owns and operates these airports, has a significant investment portfolio across hotels, property and utilities, and will continue to invest in major infrastructure projects across the Top End.
About the Role
Working exclusively with the Airport Development Group, Elite Executive are seeking a highly skilled Asset Manager to oversee car Parking and Ground Transport operations. This pivotal role aims to maximize capital value and net income across ADG's airports in Darwin, Alice Springs, and Tennant Creek.
Responsibilities
The successful applicant will lead efforts to simplify journeys to and from ADG's airports, ensuring exceptional service for transport providers, passengers, customers, and staff.
The Key objectives of the role will include contract management, asset strategy development, financial oversight, market research, and safety compliance.
- Contract Management: Procuring and managing third-party parking operators, overseeing capital upgrades, and establishing operational standards.
- Asset Management: Developing annual asset strategies, conducting SWOT analyses, and forecasting revenue and expenses.
- Financial & Reporting: Monitoring financial performance against budgets and business plans.
- Market Research & Marketing: Creating marketing strategies to increase public parking revenue and modal share.
- ADG Collaboration: Collaborating closely with terminal, facilities, and project management teams to achieve objectives.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, or marketing.
- Demonstrated experience in developing asset strategies and managing third-party operators.
- Proficiency in data analysis, people management, marketing, and negotiation.
- Strong communication skills, computer literacy, and ability to build effective partnerships.
- Eligibility for an Aviation Security Identification Card and Australian Federal Police Check.
- Experience in asset and contract management is desirable.
