ACP (Austwide Consumer Products) is a national importer, wholesaler and brand manager of a diverse range of consumer products ranging from home wares to outdoor leisure goods. Our range consists of over 6000 products across 20 categories including seasonal items. We currently distribute to over 4000 retail outlets across Australia.
A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Officer to join our Finance team.
This opportunity is for someone who has excellent verbal and written communication skills with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a similar role and be able to work autonomously to deadlines.
Knowledge of Pronto Software would also be favorable however, training will be provided. Bachelor’s degree in accounting is a must and the candidates who registered for CA or CPA qualification are also encouraged to apply.
The successful applicant will join an existing team and in a role that will cover most facets of the daily transactions occurring in a trading business. This will include but not limited to.
- End to end Accounts payable duties.
- Provide assistance to Accounts Receivable when required.
- Credit card reconciliations.
- Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Processing of accruals, prepayments and subsequent journals
- Month end accounting duties and assisting with management reports.
- Managing inter-company transactions and Accounts.
- Provide assistance to the Financial Controller.
- Other duties as required.
The position also requires sound Excel proficiency and computer skills including the Microsoft Office Suite.
