Assistant Accountant

About our client:
Troocoo is excited to continue to partner with RIB Software, who are one of the world's leading providers of software for managing project and enterprise processes in the construction and real estate industry.
Globally, their software solutions work with construction design and visualisation 2D drawings and 3D BIM models to facilitate digitalisation and sustainability across all stages of the construction process through Plan, Build and Operate.
This position is newly created and sits within a wonderfully supportive and progressive finance team.
About the role:
The Assistant Accountant will report into the finance manager for RIB and have direct access to an outstanding senior leadership team. The role will cover the following:
Operational Accounting:
- invoicing
- cash receipts
- AR
- licensing
- AP
Financial reporting:
- Monthly reporting and analysis
- Statutory reporting and tax
- preparation of manual journal entries
- build and monitor budget for the region
The successful candidate:
The successful candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be effective at dealing with non finance professionals. Working as part of a team will be important as will the need to have high attention to detail.
This role will suit one of two types of candidates:
1) 1-2 years experience accounting graduate who is looking for an environment where they can harness their accounting knowledge and learn from a highly effective leadership team
2) an experienced candidate, perhaps a returning parent to work, where one can leverage their experience in a stable and collegiate environment
What's on offer?
A salary of between $65,000 and $75,000 + super depending on experience. A convenient North Shore location and wonderful working environment.
