About the Job
Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking to employee an experience Assistant Accountant to join our team.
- Permanent full time position
- Monday to Friday
- Located in Craigieburn
Reporting directly to Senior Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
- Bank & Ledger Accounts Reconciliation
- Database management
- Month-end accounting procedures
- End to End Payroll Function including staff queries, termination payments, workers compensation claims etc
- General accounting duties
Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting / payroll process
- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Applications. (word, excel)
- Proficient knowledge in MYOB and Xero
- Great customer service experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Self-motived.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask.
- Highly organised and able to priorities.
- Team player.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Fast learner – ability to pick up new skills and concepts quickly.
Qualifications/Tickets/Licenses
- Tertiary qualification in business or accounting
- Australian driver's license.
- National Police Check.
