Currently looking for an Assistant Audit and Risk Manager to join their team for an 18-month temporary assignment. About the role: As an Assistant Audit and Risk Manager, you will closely work with Chief Audit Executive and Branch Head to manage an effective risk management, audit, and assurance framework.
In addition, you will:Oversee the ongoing development of the risk management framework and related policies
Promote a positive risk culture and awareness of risk and related governance frameworks
Ensure that risk identification and mitigation are integrated across all business functions
Manage and coordinate the internal audit program including development and execution of a risk-based strategic internal audit plan, contract management of external service providers, coordinating and supporting the execution of internal audits across all business functions About you: To be successful in this role, you must have:Previous experience in an audit, risk, and assurance role
Background in a public sector environment
Sound knowledge of Commonwealth frameworks relating to risk management, audit, and assurance
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
Proficiency with the use of presentation tools and collaboration platforms Benefits:ASAP Start Date18-Month Casual temporary assignment
Full time hours, Monday to Friday$107,916 - $117,775 15.4% employer super contribution
