About the Role
There are 50 Level 1 full-time permanent positions earning $31.98 per hour as per Enterprise Agreement Rivalea (Australia) Pty Ltd Meat Processing – Corowa Abattoir 2021
These full-time positions, based at our Corowa Meat Processing plant will be responsible for various labouring tasks in our Abattoir. Great opportunities for career progression within the meat industry.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Packing, collecting, classifying, dispatching product
Chillers, grading, pushing and counting
Processing offal’s / allocating / removal of pet food bins
Loading and unloading rollers at shackle tables
Apply a range of knife skills as required in packaging
Skills & Experience:
Good level of physical fitness
Understanding of food safety and hygiene
Ability to work independently and in a team
Good levels of literacy and numeracy skills
