THE OPPORTUNITY
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Lead the team by setting a strong example to deliver an exceptional in-store customer experience.
- Maintain high standards of store presentation through effective in-store visual merchandising and exceptional retail marketing practices.
- Provide outstanding customer service by actively engaging with customers, addressing inquiries promptly, and ensuring their needs are met.
- Mentor, train, and develop the team to foster a positive and motivated work environment.
- Assist with ordering and managing stock to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained.
- Create a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff.
- Uphold store policies and procedures, including compliance with regulatory requirements and health and safety standards.
ABOUT YOU
- 2+ years’ experience managing a retail liquor store.
- A passion to deliver the highest standards of customer service.
- Highly organised with effective time management skills.
- Proficient in inventory management.
- Experience in leading a small team and sound knowledge of rostering
- Strong conflict-resolution skills and effective problem-solving skills
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as required.
- Intermediate computer skills, including point of sale systems and Microsoft applications.
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy items.
- Knowledge and enthusiastic about wine, beer and spirits.
- Valid NSW RSA certification.
