Our Bitesize portfolio is a priority segment for Mars Wrigley – and it also happens to be an exceptionally fun and dynamic one to work in. Reporting to the Portfolio Director and with strong direction and mentorship from the Snr Brand Managers, the Bitesize Assistant Brand Manager is accountable for supporting the development and deployment of brand growth initiatives in line with the strategic priorities of iconic brands such as our delicious M&M’s, Maltesers, Pods & Skittles.
In this role, you will both lead and work closely with other Bitesize team members on key strategic projects from insight led strategy, to idea generation, concept development, budget management, product and pack design, creative processes, brand and market positioning, team and stakeholder engagement and post evaluations. You will have a great opportunity to leverage your strong passion for brands, people, developing strategy as you drive for results through collaboration, all whilst demonstrating a keen sense of integrity and trust.
What are we looking for?
- A candidate who is passionate about broadening their marketing knowledge with a curiosity to learn, adapt, and grow.
- Fantastic interpersonal skills with the ability work collaboratively with cross-functional teams while juggling project stages and deadlines.
- 2+ years professional experience in marketing, open to this being in retail, creative or media agency, or FMCG businesses.
- Bachelor Degree - Preferred in Commerce/Business/Marketing/Communications.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure the successful and timely delivery of key Bitesize brand projects through activity forums and stage gate processes.
- Manage & lead multiple marketing projects and activities, while adhering to business timings and providing clear communication and guidance to the broader marketing community around project risks and opportunities.
- Assist the Bitesize Snr. Brand Managers & Bitesize Brand Manager in the development of growth plans in line with the objectives and goals for Mars Wrigley.
- Assist & Lead in development of powerful integrated marketing plans that utilize consumer, shopper, category and customer data and insights.
- Deliver the periodic portfolio scorecard including the reporting of category, business and marketing metrics accurately and to business timings.
