Dianella Secondary College (SC) are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Cleaner in Charge to join their wonderful team.The successful applicant will ideally be a conscientious worker able to assist the Facilities Coordinator with ensuring all facilities are cleaned and maintained in accordance with Department of Education procedures. The Assistant Cleaner in Charge assists with all daily operations, including the coordination of cleaning staff tasks, inductions, on the job training for new staff and the securing of the school in the afternoon. They will undertake the cleaning of internal and external areas of the school and will ideally have current knowledge of cleaning equipment, processes and techniques and extensive knowledge of the duties of cleaning a large school including vacation cleaning routines.Dianella SC is an innovative and forward thinking multicultural public secondary school. - Ability to recognise and interpret Material Safety Data Sheets, equipment operating instructions, safety instructions and training guidelines.
- Knowledge of and ability to use cleaning equipment, including polishers, vacuum cleaners and pressure cleaners.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in the safe use and storage of cleaning equipment, materials and chemicals.
- Initiative and good organisational skills.

- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
