The Role:
Assistant Club Managers are primarily responsible for achieving club membership sales targets, whilst training, mentoring and managing Membership Consultants on a daily basis. In addition, this role will assist the Club General Manager with the daily operational procedures and meetings.
We will also provide development training on various procedures and operations of the business to prepare for a future Club General Manager position within the group.
In this role you will be required to:
- New membership sales, ensuing to achieve the club target set by the Club Manager and Directors.
- Delivering training, mentoring and supporting the Membership Consultants, encouraging the use of creative & varied techniques to ensure a constant flow of incoming leads.
- Using internal software systems including Clubware, Debit Success & Gym Sales to determine internal communications and procedures are being met and followed.
- Use of internal and external marketing including social media, SMS, Email Blasts, B2B outreach, community events and other forms of lead generation to ensure a continual lead base is maintained for the club.
- Use and management of Social Media as per the guide provided.
- Support the Club General Manager where needed.
- Effectively plan, manage and execute external lead generation including B2B, outreach and external community event planning.

What you’ll need to succeed:
- Previous sales experience, preferably in the Fitness Industry but not mandatory.
- A financially motivated person with a natural drive to achieve targets and team goals.
- Experience in a KPI driven environment with a pro-active Lead Generation mindset.
- Ability to build rapport with people from varied walks of life with a desire to help people succeed in their goals.
- The ability to solve problems and overcome obstacles.
- Outstanding communication abilities - able to listen, understand, empathise and influence others.
- Customer-focused with a desire to achieve exceptional customer outcomes.
- Ability to be a role model and live by healthy values and behaviours while being passionate about the gym brand you work for.
- A "can do" attitude with a thirst for learning & ambition for growth.
- Be reliable, proactive, punctual, professional & well-presented.

- Computer literacy & ability to learn new systems.
- Communicate & uphold, policies & procedures of the business to customers and staff.
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificates (if not holding, would be willing to acquire).
- Have Australian working rights.
