About the Role:
As the Assistant Club Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Club Manager in daily gym management, focusing on boosting sales, profitability, and maintaining exceptional member care.
- Marketing Support. Contribute to club marketing activities to meet outreach requirements.
- Team Development: contribute to team meetings and activities to build a great team culture and club environment.
- Sales Management: Support sales initiatives to drive club revenue.
- Gym Standards: Ensure adherence to cleanliness, maintenance, and OH&S standards.
- Administrative Duties: Assist in handling reporting, budget planning, contractor invoicing, and other administrative tasks.
About You:
We are seeking a motivated and organized professional with a proven track record of goal achievement. If you possess the following qualities, we want to hear from you:
- People-Focused and Highly Organised: Prioritize member relationships and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
- Team Building Experience: Proven ability to contribute to a high performing team.
- Club Culture Advocate: Experience in creating and promoting a positive and exceptional fitness facility culture.
- HR and Safety Knowledge: Understanding or experience in basic human resource practices and a sound understanding of work health and safety requirements is desirable.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Fitness Certification: Minimum Certificate III in Fitness (Cert IV to conduct PT) or the ability to attain an equivalent qualification. No fitness qualification? We have you covered – you will be able to attain a basic fitness accreditation with us.
- First Aid and CPR Certification: Current certification required.
- Background Check: Must have an appropriate police/working with children check.
- Tertiary Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in health, business, or commerce are highly regarded.
