Assistant Course Manager
Nestled between the Indian Ocean and the Peel Estuary, the Mandurah Country club is a busy 18-hole golf course with santa anna fairways and A4 Bent greens. The Club has won the Metropolitan Facility of the Year 2017, 2019 and 2022 and is highly regarded for strong governance structures with employee autonomy back to the clubs Strategic Direction.
The Club has a Course Master Plan in place to deliver a large number of projects in upcoming years, with the Assistant Course Manager playing a key role to help lead these projects, as well as the team, in achieving exciting improvements to the facility.
The position lends itself to someone with experience in leading a team, day to day course maintenance or project work however, we are open to a suitably qualified and motivated aspiring Course Manager who we can assist to gain the wide range of skills the industry expects from its leaders.
This is a hands-on role but is also part of the club’s Management Team and therefore an attractive salary package including sign on bonus, a generous training allowance to encourage personal development and attendance at relevant industry conferences is all part of an overall package for the club to attract an excellent candidate to support our highly regarded Course Manager.
It is important the candidate brings with them:
- Strong organizational skills and a ‘can do ‘attitude

- A genuine passion for turf management or the golf industry
- The ability to work as part of a team and to lead and inspire others
