The Australian Digital Health Agency (the Agency) is responsible for national digital health services and systems, with a focus on engagement, innovation and clinical quality and safety. About the RoleThe role is located within the Clinical Governance Section of the Policy Programs and Engagement Division. The Clinical Governance Section works to develop, implement and operate comprehensive and effective Clinical Governance, using a whole-of-system approach, to ensure clinical safety in the delivery of the national digital health work program.
This role is responsible for stewarding the Agency’s Clinical Governance activities, including the Clinical Governance Framework to demonstrate alignment with the Agency Establishment Rule (PGPA) 2016. This role works collaboratively across the Clinical Governance Section to support Agency staff to demonstrate Clinical Governance throughout the delivery lifecycle of our products, services and business as usual activities.
This role also supports the Agency’s Digital Health Adviser Services to provide positive engagement between the Agency, and the healthcare provider community and people with lived experience using digital health products. Key success factors for the role include:

• The ability to cultivate productive working relationships and facilitate cooperation and partnerships utilising effective communication and negotiation skills.
• The ability to build knowledge and awareness through collaboration across the Clinical Governance field and build organisational capability and responsiveness.
Skills and Experience• Experience engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and building cooperation and partnerships of mutual benefit.
• Experience working in a clinical field and/or a digital health environment, would be highly regarded.
• An understanding of data, and intermediary to advanced Microsoft Excel skills would be beneficial.
QualificationsTertiary qualifications in a clinical discipline making the holder eligible for AHPRA registration would be desirable, along with post-graduate qualification/s in health service management and/or Clinical Governance.
