The Department of the House of Representatives is seeking applications from those interested in directly supporting the work of the House of Representatives and members of Parliament at Parliament House in Canberra.About the roleWorking with the Director, Payroll and Reporting, the Assistant Director is responsible for developing and executing strategies to enhance the Aurion HRMIS and other HR systems in support of business requirements, ensuring systems are operating efficiently and are effectively maintained. In collaboration with key stakeholders, this role will coordinate software releases with the vendors, conduct configuration changes and perform testing to ensure systems functionality is maintained, ensuring seamless integration with other departmental systems.The successful applicant will be an experienced leader who can influence, plan and deliver outcomes and support the direction of the team.The Assistant Director will work collaboratively with the Finance Office to provide accurate and timely information for the purposes of audit, reporting and system improvements.Contact InformationWe are committed to fostering a respectful and safe work environment.
