About Us:
The Avenues Group currently operates 16 high quality early learning centres across Brisbane. Avenues Early Learning Centre - Aspley is a small, friendly centre that prides itself on providing our children and families with quality care and education. We are based in Aspley and have formed strong reputable relationships with the families in the area as well as the local school.
We are a committed team of passionate early childhood educators and are looking for someone with the same passion and enthusiasm for high quality care!
The Role:
Our Aspley centre requires passionate and motivated Assistant Educators to join our team. The successful candidate must be comfortable working with all age groups from 6 weeks- 5 years.
We can offer flexibility with days and hours.
Requirements
- Minimum Certificate III Early Childhood Education and Care, or actively working towards.
- Must be available to work shifts between our opening hours of 7am - 6pm Monday to Friday
- Must have a current and valid Working with Children's Check (blue card)
- Must hold a current Senior First Aid, CPR & Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
- Have a good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Have a minimum of 2 years experience working in child education and care (preferred, but not essential)
- Working with all age groups
