About us
The Avenues Group of Centres is family owned and operated. We have been providing quality care and education since 2003. Each centre in the group has its own unique character and offers services that reflect the local communities in which they are located. Avenues Early Learning Centre- Bowen Hills is centrally located and just a 300m walk from the Bowen Hills train station, we are a small with our daily numbers, but large service with 2 outdoor play spaces, good sized rooms and multiple educator spaces located separately from direct learning areas. We are a diverse team of passionate educators with an interest in developing young minds and continuing the daily learning of early education through fun and meaningful moments.
The opportunity
We are actively recruiting for qualified Educators to join our team.
This position is available for an educator who is able to work 5 days per week on a rotating roster between the hours of 7am-6pm working up to 37.5 hours/week.
Requirements
- Qualified Diploma or Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care/ACECQA recognized qualification or working towards a qualification
- Those without an EC qualification looking to get into the industry are highly encouraged to apply.
- Current Paid Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Current Senior First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificate
- Knowledge of EYLF and the NQS
