Seeking an Assistant Electrical and Maintenance Manager to join a team in Jandakot

Your new company 
A government department based in Jandakot is seeking an Assistant Electrical and ITS Maintenance Manager to join a team. You will be required to work full-time hours, paid at a competitive hourly rate and working on a long-term temporary engagement. 

Your new role 

As the Assistant Electrical and ITS Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Providing support to the Electrical and ITS Maintenance Manager in planning, organising, and overseeing maintenance activities for electrical and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) infrastructure.
• Collaborating with the Maintenance Manager to ensure maintenance schedules for electrical and ITS assets are understood and followed
• Preparing regular reports on asset performance, maintenance activities and issues
• Contribute to identifying opportunities for asset optimisation, including upgrades and process improvements
• Assist in coordinating with vendors and suppliers to source quality components and services for asset maintenance and upgrades
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and safely 

What you'll need to succeed 

To be considered, you will have:

• Excellent knowledge of Western Australian Electrical Requirements (WAER), AS/NZ 3000, 3017 and 3019
• Knowledge and experience with the Microsoft Office suite of software (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Previous experience in an electrical and/or ITS related maintenance space, with good working knowledge of the fundamentals of maintenance, including pre-planned maintenance (PPM) and re-active maintenance (unplanned and emergency)
