Your opportunity
You will be able to use your trade qualifications, cross-trade maintenance skills and team leader experience to ensure that the College facilities are maintained at a high level of operational effectiveness and public presentation. This role assists the Facilities Manager to lead and manage the Grounds and Maintenance team, coordinate contractors and performs a wide variety of routine and grounds/maintenance tasks within a small dedicated team.
This permanent, full-time role also requires you to:
- Hold a Working with Children Blue Card.
- Be flexible in relation to the changing requirements within a school environment and manage your time accordingly.
- Have the ability to perform strenuous physical labour on a daily basis.
- Communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals and groups.
- Have a customer service focus.
- Be committed to teamwork and collaborative participation in professional relationships.
