An exciting opportunity awaits for a motivated and experienced candidate to join us as an Assistant Farm Manager in the Goondiwindi district. Reporting to and collaborating closely with the Farm Manager, this dynamic role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including overseeing irrigation, day-to-day farm operations, and ensuring seamless workflow with on-farm contractors.
Location: Goondiwindi, QLD
Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of irrigation and day-to-day farm operations.
• Collaborate closely with on-farm contractors to ensure smooth workflow management.
• Uphold farm health and safety procedures, assisting in staff training.
• Coordinate irrigation schedules for optimal efficiency.
• Oversee timely management of machinery operations, maintenance schedules, and plant repairs.
• Assist with staff supervision and contribute to monthly reporting for the Farm Manager.

About You:

• Minimum of 2 years of farming experience in irrigated cropping.
• Demonstrate leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Proficient in computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook.
• Familiarity with Greenstar Precision Ag technology
• Reliable, conscientious, and highly motivated.
• Hold a current Chemical Users Certification.
• Possess a valid Driver’s Licence.
